Ozark Mountains

  • Hobbs State Park – Arkansas’ largest state park with over 12,054 acres of the Ozark Mountains makes it an ideal getaway for hiking, camping, mountain biking, and horseback riding.
  • Beaver Lake – a man-made reservoir formed by the White River boasting near 487 miles of shoreline featuring towering limestone bluffs, natural caves, and exciting opportunities to swim, boat, and fish.
  • Kings River Falls – a 3 mi. natural area characterized by clear water streams, sandstone bluffs, and hardwood forest. A short hike into the swimming hole + falls makes for a perfect sunny Saturday afternoon.
  • The Buffalo River – Arkansas’ first national river and a true Ozark Mountains treasure. Spanning 153 mi. in 3 distinct sections, you’ll find top tier camping, kayaking, canoeing, swimming, and hiking in one of the state’s most beautiful settings.
  • Ozark-St. Francis National Forest – experience 1.2 million acres of lush hardwood and pine forests, crystal clear mountain streams and scenic drives. This one really puts “natural” in The Natural State.
